This course is free for Southwark distributors to offer to their contractor, installer or design customers in person at their facilities only when scheduling the Introduction to Air Distribution and Duct Design class.

  • What's covered in this class?

    This course will look at existing duct systems and their effect on both mechanical HVAC equipment and human comfort. By understanding the role of ductwork in system performance, technicians will better recognize the unique challenges they encounter in retrofit situations. By applying proven field testing and evaluation methods, accurate results can be obtained and interpreted to identify problem areas, formulate possible solutions, and avoid callbacks on replacement systems.

    This class currently grants 2 CEU hour for NATE HVAC professionals.

    Attendees should be experienced HVAC contractors, technicians or installers who are looking for information and tips on evaluating duct systems when performing change-outs.
